DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A man from Durant faces charges of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and willful injury causing serious injury.

Police said they arrived to the 2600 block of East 35th Street in Davenport for reports of vehicular assault.

According to police, 21-year old Tyler Roberts drove his vehicle toward two people in the road, hitting one of them.

Police said the person had serious injuries to their ankle, and the other person had minor injuries.

According to court records, Roberts is out of jail and on self-custody on a $14,000 bond.
