RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A pair of Reno residents were arrested on larceny and burglary charges after police say they stole a car during a residential burglary.

Sunday morning, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Arrowcreek area for reports of a residential burglary in which a vehicle had been stolen.

Police were able to track the stolen vehicle to an address in the area of Patton Drive and Tripp Drive in Reno. SWAT and the WCSO responded to the location.

After a lengthy standoff, 26-year-old Kencil Davis and 23-year-old Ellaine Ferrer were taken into custody. The stolen vehicle was also recovered.

Ferrer and Davis were booked into the Washoe County Detention Center on charges of residential burglary, grand larceny, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle.
