On Monday, August 4, the History Channel announced the return of Mountain Men for its 14th season — and with it comes the final season of the beloved mountain man Tom Oar .

Mountain Men returns on Wednesday, September 3, on the History Channel, "marking the final season for legendary mountain man Tom Oar," the network revealed.

"Life in the wild is just as grueling today as it was for the original frontiersmen — only now, walking away from the modern world takes even more grit. In the new season … that spirit is tested like never before.
