HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WSAV) -- Today Show news anchor Craig Melvin is from South Carolina. Recently, a sea turtle nest on Hilton Head Island was named for Melvin and his family.

In June, a loggerhead laid more than 125 eggs in the Sea Pines nest. Those eggs have hatched.

Melvin and his Today Show cohosts talked about the hatchlings Monday.
