BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A Crown Heights man has been sentenced for breaking into his ex-girlfriend's apartment in the middle of the night and stabbing her boyfriend to near death, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced.
Clifton Turner, 39, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after his conviction in 2024.
According to evidence, on Nov. 4, 2020, Turner showed up at his ex-girlfriend's Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment and threatened to kill the man she was dating at the time. Gonzalez said Turner was pacing the lobby floor before going up to her apartment, and took the boyfriend's bike when he left.
