WILTON, ND (KXNET) — She's seen a century of change and has lived every moment with faith, family, and a whole lot of hard work.
North Dakota native Marjorie Hruby is celebrating 100 years of life.
In 1925, Marjorie was born and raised in Wilton, where she later met her husband, Paul. The two shared 60 years of marriage before Paul passed away.
Together, they built a life on a farm about 12 miles Northeast of Wilton, raising seven children, running cattle, sheep, and pigs, and growing wheat, barley, and corn.
On the farm, Marjorie tended a large garden, and the kids pitched in, collecting eggs from the chickens and helping wherever they could.
She's known not just for her work ethic, but her Ukrainian Catholic faith, which showed up in every loaf of bread, batch of buns, and tradition
