GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Police believe the people responsible for the murder of a 39-year-old in Greensboro are already behind bars.

On Monday, Greensboro police announced that Tariq Mosley, 28, and Michael Garrison, 26, had been charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and discharge of a barreled weapon into an occupied vehicle. The charges connect to the death of Marsalis Davon Murphy and an investigation into the assault of a female victim on the 3200 block of East Bessemer Avenue on April 27.
