LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — The Loudoun County School Board held an emergency meeting Monday morning to discuss demands from the Federal government to end its current bathroom policy for transgender and nonbinary students.

Currently, the LCPS policy allows students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their preferred gender.

The meeting was closed to the public, but that did not stop people from gathering outside. The crowd, seen in pictures posted by Republican State Delegate Geary Higgins, held signs opposing the current bathroom policies.

As for what was discussed in the closed-door meeting, officials say the details will be shared later this month.
