MORROW — Clayton State University Professor of Management Leon C. Prieto was recently been appointed to the Advisory Board of the International Panel on Social Progress.
“This global recognition highlights Dr. Prieto’s impactful work in inclusive entrepreneurship, responsible management, social innovation and business education,” a press release read.
The IPSP, launched in 2014 and modeled after the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, unites more than 350 distinguished scholars and practitioners from around the world to address today’s most urgent social challenges — including inequality, environmental degradation and the erosion of public trust in institutions.
Its Honorary Committee includes global leaders such as Nobel Prize laureates Amartya Sen and Muhammad Yunus.
