A pensioner is in an Edinburgh hospital after being knocked off his bike by youths .
The 62-year-old was cycling at The Dam in Methil on Saturday, August 2 at around 8.20pm. Police received reports of a collision involving a bicycle and an off-road dirt bike.
Three youths, one of which was on a black and orange dirt bike, knocked the cyclist off his bike and then left the scene. They failed to leave details.
The man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kircaldy, before being moved to the Royal Infirmary with what was described as 'serious injuries'.
Police described the biker who left the scene as between 13-19 years old, wearing all black with an orange ski mask. He was also wearing a white helmet.
