SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - The YWCA of Northwest Louisiana will celebrate a century of empowering women during their upcoming annual fundraiser, "Women Who Care, Share" luncheon. It will take place Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino, located at 315 Clyde Fant Parkway in downtown Shreveport.

This year's theme is “100 years of Empowering Women." The luncheon will feature a panel of distinguished women leaders: Vivian Andrews, President of La Ve’ Consulting; Erica R. Bryant, Parish Administrator & CEO for the Parish of Caddo; Linda Biernacki, President of Fire Tech Systems; and Rachel Scott, VISTA Supervisor.
