CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A man will spend the next three decades in prison for a deadly 2022 shooting in Conway.

Joe Gause, 33, of Loris, pleaded guilty to murder on Monday, a week before his trial was set to get underway, according to 15th Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson.

Gause shot and killed 42-year-old Brandon Robinson on Dec. 11, 2022.

Gause had followed his ex-girlfriend to Robinson’s home in the 200 block of Forest Loop Road.
