A man who fractured a mans skull by attacking him sent a brazen message after his attack. William Brazil attacked a man in his 60s while on St Peter's Street in Canterbury on March 29, 2025.

The attack, described as "spontaneous" by Kent Police, happed after the pair had been drinking at the same table of a pub earlier in the night. Brazil punched his victim who fall backwards and hit his head against the cobbled ground.

The man suffered a fractured skull in the attack and Brazil fled the scene. An investigation by Kent Police uncovered CCTV showing the assault, which led to officers issuing images to help identify the attacker.
