VFW Post 7968 and Auxiliary will be holding a town hall meeting Aug. 6 for all to learn about the Superstition Fire and Medical District bond issue on the November ballot.

The town hall starts at 6 p.m. Aug. 6 at the VFW, 250 S. Phelps Drive in Apache Junction.

“This town hall is for the entire Superstition Fire and Medical District community. Everyone is invited,” it states in a release. “The SFMD will present much-needed information on the November bond issue so that voters can be well informed why the bond is desperately needed. They will also focus on the equipment and apparatus needed to keep our community safe from urban fires, wildfires, and search and rescue operations.”
