PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Crews were at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision along Interstate 95, which caused miles of delays on Tuesday afternoon.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) said in a social media post at 1:15 p.m. that two lanes are closed near exit 148 (Quantico) on I-95. As of then, only one southbound lane was open to traffic.
Around two miles of congestion approached the crash scene, officials noted.
VDOT cameras captured slow-moving traffic around the scene, with ambulances in the left lane and right shoulder.
As of 1:30 p.m., it was not clear how many vehicles were involved or whether there were any injuries.
