WATERLOO, Iowa — The Waterloo Community Foundation has launched the Forever Trojans Fund to support the athletic programs at East High School. This initiative aims to provide ongoing resources for athletic programs and facilities, ensuring the legacy of strong athletics continues as the Waterloo Community School District plans to merge East High and West High in the 2028-2029 school year. East High Head Football Coach, De’Carlos Anderson, emphasized the importance of the fund. "East High has always been more than just a school — it’s a community, a tradition, and a place where students grow on and off the field," Anderson said. "The Forever Trojans Fund ensures that our student-athletes will have the support they need to compete and succeed, no matter what changes come."
