Unsafe driving conditions cause road closure in Dawson Springs

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WEVV) — The Dawson Springs Police Department is giving drivers a heads up about a temporary road closure.

According to DSPD, East Munn Street between South Main Street and Poplar Street in Dawson Springs will be closed until further notice.

The closure comes after crews with the state highway department located a "possibly unsafe condition" for vehicles to drive on, the police department said.

While waiting for an engineer to assess the situation, city officials decided to close the road for safety reasons.
