INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (KOLO) - The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is warning of an increase in bicycle and E-bike thefts.

They say that since June 20, four separate cases have been reported, with two of them involving E-bikes that were securely locked, but had the locks cut.

Residents are asked to take certain precautions to prevent bike theft, such as recording your E-bike’s serial number, and keeping it out of public view when at home.
