CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The man accused of killing a woman in her front yard in Cleveland County in late July was arrested, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Alan Norman said on Tuesday, August 5, that 37-year-old Marlow Johnson was captured in Charlotte for his role in killing Tamia Logan.
Johnson had been on the run after he allegedly shot and killed Logan outside of her home in Shelby on July 18.
Officials did not say what the relationship was between Johnson and Logan.

The sheriff’s office said that a shooting occurred on Friday, July 18, outside of a home along Baker Drive near Pleasant Ridge Church Road in Shelby.
Officials said when they arrived at the home they found Logan dead from a gunshot wound in the front yard.
