Downtown Red Deer Public Library to host Royal Tyrell Museum pop

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Royal Tyrell Museum will open a new exhibit and host pop-up exhibits across the province.

In a release, the province said that the Downtown Red Deer Public Library will be one of those pop-up exhibits starting in September. They will be on display for a full year.

“As we celebrate the Royal Tyrrell Museum’s 40th anniversary, we reflect on four decades of scientific discovery, public engagement and a shared passion for Alberta’s rich prehistoric heritage," said Lisa Making, executive director, Royal Tyrrell Museum.

"This milestone is a tribute to the dedication of our staff, the strength of our partnerships and the millions of visitors who have joined us in exploring the ancient past. We look forward to building on this legacy for generations to com
