To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Royal Tyrell Museum will open a new exhibit and host pop-up exhibits across the province.

In a release, the province said that the Downtown Red Deer Public Library will be one of those pop-up exhibits starting in September. They will be on display for a full year.

“As we celebrate the Royal Tyrrell Museum’s 40th anniversary, we reflect on four decades of scientific discovery, public engagement and a shared passion for Alberta’s rich prehistoric heritage," said Lisa Making, executive director, Royal Tyrrell Museum.
