LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Hundreds of cars lined up outside Service Chevrolet Cadillac on Tuesday morning as the Good Fight Foundation hosted its fifth annual back-to-school supply drive.
The event, spearheaded by UFC fighter Dustin Poirier and his wife, has grown significantly over the past five years, providing essential school supplies to children in the community.
"It's been getting better every year," Poirier said, noting improvements in efficiency and community involvement.
Over 1,200 backpacks filled with supplies from the Lafayette Parish school system supply list were distributed to families in need.
