STOREY COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) - A Kansas man has been arrested after police say he stabbed a man in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.

At around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, deputies with the Storey County Sheriff’s Office responded to that area on reports of a man who had been stabbed. Upon arriving, police detained male suspect.

The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds to his left side and back area. He was taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Police say the suspect, 40-year-old Adam Stoddard of Blue Rapids, Kansas, had gotten into a verbal altercation with the victim. They say that at some point, Stoddard pulled a knife from his waistband and stabbed the victim around five times.
