Grimes County, Tx (FOX 44) - An autopsy ordered for Texas Renaissance Festival George Coulum lists the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head.

The autopsy paperwork says the manner of death determined by the justice of the peace, was recommended as suicide.

The autopsy for Coulum, often known as "King George," was conducted by the Fort Bend County Medical Examiner's Office.

Law enforcement confirmed that Coulum was found dead at his home in Todd Mission, Texas the morning of May 21.

His death came after he as ordered to sell his kingdom earlier that month following a lengthy legal dispute. A Grimes County judge had upheld the sale of the property and had ordered its assets and land to change hands following a failed $60 million deal.
