SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - It’s a typical August pattern across the ArkLaTex over the next week with plenty of heat and not much hope for rain.

For tonight, we’ll see a clear sky and temperatures falling into the low 70s.

Wednesday will feature plenty of sunshine and the gradual warming trend will continue with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s. Humidity will also be on the rise and that means feels like temperatures will likely push into the triple digits.

More of the same for Thursday and Friday with sunshine and hot temperatures. Highs will continue to be in the upper 90s with a few spots pushing 100, especially on Friday. Feels like temperatures will be in the 100 to 105 range both days.
