A lane closure is scheduled along H-2 freeway, Wahiawa-bound, starting tonight, for joint repair work that had previously been delayed.

The right-lane closure will be from the Mililani Town on-ramp to the Waikalani Drive overpass nightly — from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. — for about two weeks.

“This work will repair the vital expansion joints along the roadway and remove the steel plates that were securing them for safety since May 2024,” said DOT in a news release. “Materials, contractor and shipping delays have now been resolved, enabling this work to commence.”

DOT said ramps will remain open during the work.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and obey all work signs throughout the work area.
