HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — HENDERSON, Ky. - New Hope Animal Rescue exceeded its fundraising goal by raising $25,441 in July, thanks to a generous matching campaign from Audubon Chrysler Center.
Larry Bennett, owner of Audubon Chrysler, matched all funds raised by New Hope up to $10,000. The campaign aimed to raise $20,000, and the community's support helped surpass this goal.
"The funds will be used to pay outstanding vet bills and cover monthly operating expenses," said Paula Hawkins, founder of New Hope Animal Rescue.
Audubon Chrysler has previously supported New Hope by donating funds and gifting a Ram ProMaster van for transporting animals and supplies.
