A man who was shot by an Everett police officer after he allegedly crashed an SUV into several vehicles and carjacked a garbage truck was ordered held without bail at his arraignment from his hospital bed on Monday.
Admilson Vizcaino, 33, of Malden, pleaded not guilty to two counts of armed carjacking; four counts of attempting to commit a crime; armed assault to rob; assault with a dangerous weapon; and leaving the scene of a collision resulting in property damage, according to the Middlesex district attorney’s office.
During the brief proceeding, Vizcaino remained silent in his hospital bed, with tubes in his nose and medical equipment at his bedside.
He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Aug. 13.
