SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The 2025-2026 high school football season is officially under way as two-a-days has kicked off in the Concho Valley. Click the video above for a recap of the Hawks' second day of workouts.

In Craig Slaughter's first season as head coach, Wall finished 13-2 last season and advanced to the Class 3A Division II state semifinals before dropping a heartbreaker against eventual state champion Gunter.

The Hawks have seven returning starters on offense and four on defense.

Wall has never won a state championship in football, but a lot of the players on this year's team played on the Hawks' 2025 Class 3A baseball state-championship squad.
