LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- NEWS10 is teaming up with Price Chopper/Market 32 to raise funds through the Round Up at the Register campaign.

From August 5 through September 30, customers can round up their grocery purchases to the nearest dollar as they checkout, or they can make additional donations. All funds will benefit American Red Cross disaster relief efforts -- whether it's flooding after a hurricane or a house fire in the Capital Region.

"Last night in Rensselaer, there was a home fire, and a family of seven was impacted," American Red Cross Eastern NY Regional CEO Kevin Coffey said. "We provided immediate assistance to them and help them on the road to recovery. We have volunteers across the region helping when disaster strikes, both big and small."
