ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The union that represents correction officers said they had sounded the alarm for years – and even days – prior to those unsanctioned strikes earlier this year. The state released a strike report and this week the union responded with its own account of events.
The New York State Office of Employee Relations released a strike report in May. But, the New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOBA) said it didn’t include the full story.
