NORWOOD, The Bronx (PIX11) – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death inside a Bronx playground on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

It happened at the Williamsbridge Oval Playground off Bainbridge Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Police said 14-year-old Angel Mendoza was found with stab wounds all over his body.

He was rushed to a local hospital where he died, according to authorities. Police said a 17-year-old boy also suffered stab wounds to his shoulder and midsection.

The 17-year-old is expected to recover, according to authorities. Police are looking for multiple suspects and said the stabbing may have stemmed from a fight.
