CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Two men accused of killing a Charlotte mother in 2019 pleaded guilty to charges on Tuesday.

The men’s pleas come more than six years after 27-year-old Kendal Crank died on March 28, 2019.

Crank was on her way to nursing school when a shootout broke out on near North Tryon Street, not far outside Uptown. Crank got caught in the crossfire and was killed by a bullet.

The following day -- March 29, 2019 -- police said Adonis Smith, Tychicus Dobie and Marquis Smith . They were 17, 22 and 24 years old, respectively, at the time of their arrests.

Crank had two children. They were three and nine years old at the time of her death.
