Unofficial results from Pinal County have voters approving the incorporation of the San Tan Valley region to create the town of San Tan Valley.

Pinal County has released its unofficial results with “yes” votes for incorporation at 65.5%, or 8,215, and the “no” votes coming in at 33.4%, or 4,123.

“This is a defining moment in our community’s history. We have planted the flag as Arizona’s 92nd municipality —making San Tan Valley the largest incorporation in state history. It’s a powerful example of what happens when neighbors come together with a shared vision and unwavering belief in our future,” said Dan Tan Valley Inc. Chairman Tyler Hudgins. “This moment belongs to all residents of San Tan Valley.”
