Three men have been arrested after police seized 'significant amounts' of drugs, suspected to be cocaine and cannabis, as well as cash.

The men, aged 20, 23 and 60, were arrested following raids in Longsight and Beswick this morning (August 6). They have been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and class B drugs with the intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

They remain in custody this afternoon, awaiting questioning. It comes after officers from the City of Manchester Central Challenger Team attended addresses at Curzon Avenue in Longsight and Holly Street in Beswick as part of a drug supply investigation.

During the raids, officers seized both class A and B drugs as well as a 'significant amount' of cash, estimated to be around £6,000.
