BARDSTOWN, Ky. — Steve Lawson will be back in a Nelson County courtroom Wednesday to be formally sentenced for the murder of Crystal Rogers.

Lawson is one of three men convicted on all charges in the Bardstown mom's 2015 disappearance.

After a four-day trial in May, a Warren County jury convicted Lawson of conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence.

The jury recommended Lawson serve a 17-year prison sentence for his charges, but Judge Charles Simms will make the final decision.
