Amid the busyness of the back to school season, Warren County Public Schools’ Community Fun Day is a chance to have a little fun before the school year begins.

Set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium at Warren County High School on Westminster Drive, the third annual event is an opportunity to see familiar faces and meet new friends leading up to the start of school on Tuesday.

“We are so excited to bring the community together for some extra fun prior to a new school year,” said Nora McMackin, a secretary at WCHS who has helped organize the event since its inception. “We expect a very large crowd and we are happy to offer free student hair cuts again.”
