SEYMOUR — The Schneck Foundation is inviting the community to a free educational seminar on advance care planning as part of its “Covered and in Control” series. The event, titled “Advance Care Planning: Preparing for the Unexpected,” will take place on Thursday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m. in Classroom 500 of the Schneck Professional Building. A complimentary dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m.

The seminar is designed to help individuals and families learn how to prepare for the future by discussing topics like advance directives and palliative care. A panel of medical experts from Schneck will provide guidance and practical steps for planning.
