A woman from Oakbank has won a quarter of a million dollars.

Kori Van Ryssel won $250,000 on EXTRA.

The Oakbank resident says she checked a few tickets while at the gas station and was stunned to learn that one of them was a major winner.

"It was complete shock," she says. "I still can't believe it."

Van Ryssel says she does not have much planned for her new windfall, but notes she is excited by what it represents.

"I just keep saying, 'This is breathing room,'" says Van Ryssel. "I'm going to pay off a few bills and then just sit on the rest."

Van Ryssel purchased her winning DAILY GRAND and EXTRA ticket from Oakbank Convenience Store on Main Street. She won her prize by matching the EXTRA number drawn on the June 23 EXTRA: 3037387.
