EUGENE, Ore. -- Motorists should avoid the area of Chambers Street and West 2nd Avenue or expect traffic delays due to a vehicle rollover crash that occurred earlier this morning, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials issued a traffic advisory at about 12:45 p.m. and said southbound Chambers is closed for at least the next hour as personnel work to clear the scene. Northbound Chambers Street is open but motorists can expect delays. West 2nd Avenue is closed from Chambers Street to Garfield Street.

According to fire and EMS dispatch logs, emergency personnel responded at about 10:55 a.m. on August 6 to the vehicle crash at West 2nd Avenue and Chambers Street.
