DALLAS — Dallas comedian Ralph Barbosa has a new stand-up special releasing Friday , Aug. 8, on Hulu, and to promote it, he made a visit to Shannon Sharpe's podcast show, Club Shay Shay , on Wednesday.

His second comedy special, titled Ralph Barbosa: Planet Bosa , wasn't the only topic chatted about with Sharpe, though. The Dallas comedian got some laughs out of the NFL Hall of Famer when addressing the Luka Doncic trade (Barbosa is a Mavs fan), the latest with the Dallas Cowboys (also a fan) and other inside workings of the comedy space.

"I almost feel like I'm a bad luck charm. [The Cowboys] stopped winning after I was born," Barbosa joked.

Sharpe asked Barbosa about how he reacted when the Doncic trade was announced.

"In tears ... cause [Doncic] didn't even want to go.
