HARTFORD, Conn. — An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from Louisiana who is licensed in Connecticut has joined his entities in settling with federal and state governments to resolve allegations they violated the federal and state False Claims Acts.

APRN Armand Ntchana and his entities have agreed to pay more than $600,000 to resolve allegations that they caused false claims to be submitted to Medicare and Connecticut Medicaid.

The development was reported Tuesday by both Connecticut Attorney General William Tong and the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut David Sullivan.

Ntchana, who lives in Alexandria, La., is the principal member and owner of Integrated Procare Services, LLC, or IPS , which is a psychiatric management practice based in Wethersfield.
