TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Fire crews are battling a new wildfire burning in southern Arizona.
The Walker Fire started Tuesday, August 5, on the southeastern side of the Santa Rita Mountains within the Walker Basin near the Temporal Gulch.
Officials with the Coronado National Forest say the fire has burned two acres so far.
Officials say the fire has moved upslope with minimal growth toward the base of the mountain.
No structures are currently threatened.
Smoke may be visible from Highway 82 from Patagonia to Sonoita, Arizona.
