MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) — Everyone has a unique life story. It’s just a matter of whether it’s shared pen to paper.
Seven-year-old Lincoln is one of three Minot children featured in the newly published book, “Perfect Through and Through.”
Author Shelby Vincent said it all started with a question from her daughter, who has a rare tumor on her spine.
“My daughter had the big question of when she’d be normal. I wanted to reassure her she is perfect as she is,” said Vincent.
That question inspired the children’s book that features 28 kids, each facing a unique medical challenge, just like eight-year-old Kennedy.
“When I was pregnant with Kennedy and they said the baby has club feet, I said, ‘What’s that?’ I had no idea, and I’d never met anyone that had that,” said Miranda Fylling.
