A Massachusetts EMT found to have had more than 1,000 images and videos showing the sexual abuse of children on his devices was arrested on Wednesday, federal prosecutors said.

Connor McAuliffe, a 34-year-old from Salem who is a certified emergency medical technician, appeared in a Boston court and ordered held until next week on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Massachusetts.
