EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island was among a list of 35 so-called sanctuary jurisdictions put out by the U.S. Department of Justice Tuesday.

Providence Mayor Brett Smiley joined 12 News at 4 to discuss his thoughts on the label, a recently-approved $150 million capital improvement plan, efforts by Gov. Dan McKee to bring the Connecticut Sun to Rhode Island and the fate of the Superman building after the owner's death.
