There was some nail biting at the end, but the Lake Mary All-Stars continue to win at the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.
On Wednesday, they needed an extra inning to get the job done in a 5-3 victory over Mill Creek of Washington.
Lake Mary, which at 3-1 has been by far the busiest team in the tournament, gets a well-deserved day off on Thursday. The girls are scheduled to play a Friday 4 p.m. elimination game against either a Tulsa, Oklahoma team or a team representing Johnston, Pennsylvania. That game will be televised on ESPN2.
