MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The officer whose Memphis Police squad car ended up on its roof in the parking lot of a Southwind apartment complex will not be cited in the wreck, MPD said.

Officer Cary A. Taylor lost control of the squad car and overturned in a parking lot of the Lincoln on the Green apartment complex in the Southwind area on Tuesday, the Memphis Police Department said.

Police say Taylor was not responding to a call and was not in emergency mode when the crash took place.
