COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette addressed her calls for an immigration detention facility in the Palmetto State similar to that of Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz.”
When asked on Wednesday about her recent proposal for the “Palmetto Pen,” Evette said those calls stemmed from a desire to aid the Trump administration in its immigration enforcement.
