LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 32-year-old Lincoln man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of DUI two months after a serious injury crash.
On June 11 at about 3:15 a.m., Ki Wah of Lincoln was driving a 2017 red Toyota Tacoma on Normal Boulevard near 53rd Street, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Police said he saw a 58-year-old man in the road but could not stop.
The 58-year-old was taken to the hospital for fractured ribs, a fractured spine and internal bleeding.
Wah left the scene, according to LPD, but came back later to be interviewed by investigators.
His blood alcohol content level was 0.17%, more than double the legal limit.
He was booked in the Lancaster County Jail.
