MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - Minot State football enters the fall coming off its best season in the program’s NCAA era, notching the most wins since 2010. The Beavers kicked off official practice earlier this week and are 22 days away from the season opener.

Beavers football is ready for more in 2025.

“To put it simply, we’re ready for a historic season,” said senior quarterback Carson Chrisman.

This is year three under head coach Ian Shields, and Minot State has increased its win total each season since his arrival.

“The first year was tough, a transitional year, just getting the culture and everything in place. Year two, we took a huge step forward. We became competitive,” said Shields.
